eNanda MTB Adventure

📍eNanda Adventure Park, Iqadi

Yup, we’re still eNanda & we love just how much adventure there is to be had here. Having hit the streets, toured museums and gone hiking, we decided the next obvious adventure should involve 2 wheels, good views and some speed 🚵🏾‍♀️

🥳Fun factor: YES! Fun but also relaxed. We’re coming back for more.

🏋🏾‍♀️Fitness level: beginner – advanced. There is a great variety of terrain so anyone can be accommodated. If you’re new to riding MTB, you can stick to the district road and choose your distance. Gabi & Blessing are great with on bike coaching so you’ll pick up some skills if you ride with them.

👧🏾 Suitability for kids: absolutely. They can play around the pump track or join the outride if they’re comfortable off-road.

đź’¸Cost: free if you self guide. Alternatively, park at the picnic site & get a local (Gabi or Blessing) to ride with you & show you the best routes. Cycling track R30; MTB outride R100. Enquire @enandaadventures

🤩 What we loved most:
– With more than 100km of trail surrounding Inanda dam, we could have been there all day. The mix of jeep track, single track & resplendent views had us giddy with excitement. The experienced cyclist will enjoy the testing switchbacks, technical terrain, and the tough climbs that build up to the most exhilarating down hill.
– The @godurbancyc pump track! A first for us, we had a great time playing here. Kids will love it…and so will some playful parents.

🚦 What you need to know:
– they do have bike rentals available although don’t expect these to be top of the range. Perfectly fine for beginners.
– during the lockdown period not all the trails could be maintained so some have become overgrown. The team @enandaadventures is working hard to trim the trails to get all 100km back in tiptop condition.

In short: adventure awaits you – visit eNanda & #explorelocal
