Miss being in the water? We’ve got you covered! Water play the COVID-compliant way 💦
77. Tubing (by Jetski) YASSSS!
Who knew there were so many forms of tubing, and all so much fun?! Being back in the water felt all kinds of good and our hearts couldn’t be more content. We’re still buzzing and wearing goofy smiles from the excitement today 😬
Video to follow in stories/highlights.
📍Ballito Ski Park
🥳 Fun factor: The WILDEST time we’ve had in a while and you know it’s only been #goodtimes. It was so much fun I wooped until my throat dried out – woohoo 😆
🏋🏾♀️ Fitness level required: n/a just hold on tight!
👧🏽 Suitability for kids: Yes. As long they can hold on and aren’t scared of being flipped in the water 😁 If they enjoy a bit of a rush they’ll get their fill here.
💸 Costs: R110pp for 4 loops around the dam. Budget for at least 2 loops – don’t say we didn’t want you…
🤩 What we loved most: honestly just go try it for yourself – our best description (& photos) won’t do it justice. That said, it was perfect weather to be playing in water again – and it was blissful. Tubing was only one of the exhilarating activities we did today, but this was by far the easiest one for beginners and definitely the most exhilarating. Go try it!
🚦What you need to know: plan to spend at least 2-3 hours here. Initially you’ll think the 15min per activity is too short but as we say in sports science…trust the process. Between activities you’ll hang out in the water or at the restaurant. You’ll definitely want to come back for more and you’ll probably do more than one activity. Enjoy!
