📍KwaDukuza, KZN

Being able to take to the skies to appreciate the land and sea that we have spent 99 days exploring through various adventures felt entirely befitting of our penultimate experience. A reflective and extremely gratifying experience.

🥳Fun factor: it was sublime. An outstanding way to bring our adventure to a close relaxing and reflecting on a wonderfully exciting and meaningful journey. We took it easy, soaring over KZN’s northern coastline and appreciating everything we’ve seen and done in the past 3 months. If it’s adrenaline you’re after, you have the option to turn it up a notch and ask for some acrobatics to get the adrenaline pumping. This wasn’t our vibe today, but maybe next time.

🤩What we loved most:
– Without the worry of having to decide when to release your parachute or time your landing, it was easy to sit back and relax. Our pilot (Werner) made sure we were at ease before we took off, pointing our key landmarks and interesting facts as we flew.
– This is a great way to experience the beauty of KZN’s coastline. It feels peaceful and calming to be suspended in air and gliding over ocean, fields and forests. It’s a perspective that makes you so appreciative of everything that is as you observe the world below with a birds eye view.

🚦What you need to know: there are a number of operators in KZN. Our advice is to book directly with the operator rather than through an agent. Not only is it cheaper, but you’ll also avoid any booking issues (which was our experience with the agent). We loved our experience with @adventuremicrolights and next time will book directly with them at www.adventuremicrolights.co.za
